Each year Darren Radtke a Paramedic Operations Supervisor in CUPE 1041 coordinates volunteers of Hamilton Paramedic Service and the Burlington OPP detachment to collect food for local families in need.

This is his seventh year coordinating a great event. “I couldn’t do it with out the support of volunteers that give up their valuable time and generosity of the citizens of Hamilton”.

This year 4 locations over the course of 2 days raised an amazing 20,913 pounds of food, $21,476.88 in cash and $245 in gift cards.

All proceeds are donated to the Neighbour 2 Neighbour food bank. Anyone who missed out on their opportunity to donate can find out more information at website http://www.n2ncentre.com for ways to help out.
